Virginia is a passionate bassoonist with experience in orchestral, wind band, chamber, and solo performance.

Performance Experience
Introduced to music at a very young age, Virginia has played bassoon for over a decade, studying with Eric Kuehner, Dr. Ryan Reynolds, Kaitlyn Broyles, Sandra Bailey, Nick Ritter, Jack Sutey, and Karl Rzasa. She has served as the principal bassoonist of The Naperville Winds and regularly subs for orchestras such as the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra, Fox Valley Orchestra, and DuPage Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, in June 2026, Virginia won a Bassoon Fellowship Position for the Newfound Chamber Winds Summer Music Festival in which she attended a two-week chamber music and new music intensive and engaged in rehearsals and performances of traditional and newly composed works.
